i asked sue if we could have a question and answer section

Post  juliemom on Thu Feb 26, 2009 12:06 pm

hi all i have lots of questions craft wise that im sure someone will have the answer too or will know where we can find the answer so hopefully we will end up with a good section of helpful advice.

my first question is if you are doing a stamp on candle and want to put glamour dust around your candle or normal glitter how do you stop it from rubbing off.
I have done one and will post piccie tomorrow but i used clear glue rubbed over the candle and then rolled in glamour dust but when you touch it it comes off and leaves a finger print were the glitter should be, has anyone got any ideas to stop this from happening

thank you julie xx

Great idea for the section Julie.

I've never tried stamping onto candles before, though would like to try sometime.

I'm not sure this works, but was just thinking, and don't know if you use special inks to stamp on candles, but anyway here is what I was thinking.....could you possibly use the inks and sprinkle the glamour dust onto that like you would embossing powder, and after it dries would it stay on, it's just an idea hun, have no idea if it would work.

Hope you find some solution.
