Re: how to watercolour ...help
Hi Mariell
Can't help you much with the Whisper pens, all though I have them I'm not a big fan of them. One way I've heard them being used as water colours, is you apply the ink to a surface like a plastic pallete or acrylic block then use a waterbrush or normal wet paintbrush and dip into the ink then colour on your card/paper. I do it this way with Sakura pens.
As for watercolour pencils, the best way is lots of practice. A good idea is to stamp an image 4 - 6 times on an A4 piece of card, and colour each one individually, and just generally play with the colours and shading. When I'm using the pencils I shade directly from the pencil, I shade quite heavily at the edges and on creases then gradually work out from the outline a little but applying lighter pressure as I work out. I then take my waterbrush and work from the outside in. Once dried I may add a little more colour if an area needs to be a little darker. This is just the way I do it, I'm sure people use many different techniques. Find some watercolour images you like and try to copy their colours and shading. As I say it just needs a bit of patience and practice but you will get there, if I can do it, anyone can.
Hope this has helped a little.

Hi Mariell
I have seen some amazing results from people that have used the Whispers like watercolours, maybe I just need more practice with them. xxx
