were so quiet this week

no ones posted in nearly a week
where are you all?
My cast is finally off and it was a little yukky but not too bad......so glad its off but boy is it sore tobend my wrist at all
it will eventually ease off as will the pins and needles in my hand so im told
this week i have made a heap of birthday cards and im just doing some christmas ones now.
This week i have made damson and pear jam, apple chutney spiced hot chutney, plum jam , peach chutney and some autumn fruit chutney and 6 banana cakes....ive been busy
then we were down the garden and put a shed up and have got a nice couple of huge cloches over 2 beds for the brassicas and dug more of the ground...nearly done digging thank god.
We have been so lucky this week as managed to blag 2 car loads of freed wood from our sawmill, got some mesh for the garden, free apple and a couple of free turnips....been a good week really
well apart from my adhd teenager being excluded from school for a few days for smoking in school....

been a nice busy day here
been to the local car boot and got nothing well apart from some cracking veggies....just boiled up huge beetroot ready to make some beetroot chutney tomorrow,....this is just for me.,...love the stuff...lol
hubby got me a chicken and rooster outside garden ornament made of stone its all painted and so nice its got pride of place at the front door....though my birthday is not till the 17th oct he got it to me early...lol
Made a nice batch of damson jam and have rhubarb soaking in sugar for tomorrows rhubarb and orange jam....not sure but its something different...lol

well today is thursday
i made rhubarb and orange jam and some more damson it was lovely
